Organizers decided to combine Robophilosophy 2016 with the international conference of the Research Network in Transdisciplinary Studies in Social Robotics (TRANSOR) in order to increase the volume and impact of both conferences. After abstracts of 11 plenary lectures, 39 session papers and extended abstracts cover methodological issues; ethical tasks and implications; emotions in human-robot interactions; education, art, and innovation; artificial meaning and rationality; social norms and robot society; and perceptions of social robots. The proceedings also contain descriptions of six workshops and abstracts of workshop contributions. Annotation ©2017 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
